Objective(s):

Deliver an informative speech.

 

Directions:  Write a 3-4 minute informative speech over one of the assigned people of interest.  You may only use a 3/5 card to deliver the speech.

 

 

Rubric:

  1. Was the speech 3 minutes?

  2. Did the speaker have 2 sources, name drops?

  3. Did the intro use a quote?

  4. Did the speaker use the 3/5 card correctly?

  5. Did the speaker analyze the person of interest adequately (suggested format)?

  6. Was the speaker loud enough?

  7. Did the speaker “walk” correctly?

  8. Did the speaker flag the conclusion?

  9. Was there a note of finality?

  10. Did we learn something about the person?
