 “Tournament that Teaches”

October 28, 2006

Smithville High School

Smithville High School Speech & Debate cordially invites you to attend the “Tournament that Teaches” at Smithville High School .

We are committed to providing a quality tournament experience.  The tournament will be under the direction of Mr. Tim Cook.

We have created a unique schedule that allows for students to fully experience the forensic and theater experience.  Sessions are designed for both varsity and novice students.  Additionally, we are pleased to offer special coaches sessions this year.  Please be sure to study the schedule carefully.  Don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions.

Awards will be based on cumulative totals.  We will try to recognize as many speakers as possible.

Coaches are welcome to attend educational sessions, if they have fulfilled their judging obligations.

Smithville is located 42 miles southeast of Austin, 57 miles southwest of Brenham, 116 miles northeast of San Antonio, and 120 miles northwest of Houston.

We look forward to seeing you at the “Tournament that Teaches.”
